Hayley and Steve came from Hong Kong to celebrate their wedding on Koh Samui, surrounded by close friends and family. The day began with relaxed getting ready moments, stylish portraits with the groom and his friends, and soft bridal portraits with the bridesmaids in elegant blue dresses. Later, the ceremony took place on Conrad’s glass platform beside the main pool, with the ocean and the Five Islands in the background. After sunset portraits, heartfelt speeches and a warm evening reception, the celebration ended with dancing, laughter and a spectacular fireworks display over the sea.

A Conrad Koh Samui Wedding with Five Islands Views

Hayley and Steve’s wedding at Conrad Koh Samui had everything that makes a destination wedding feel unforgettable: a beautiful ocean-view ceremony, a close group of friends from Hong Kong, elegant blue bridesmaid dresses, warm family moments and one of the most dramatic sunset backdrops on the island.

The day began quietly with the groom and his friends. They were already dressed when we arrived, full of jokes and good energy, so the morning started naturally — not with stiff posing, but with movement, laughter and a few stylish portraits before the schedule moved on.

Later, we joined Hayley and her bridesmaids. The blue dresses, soft bouquets and calm hotel interiors created a very gentle mood for the bridal portraits. Conrad Koh Samui has many beautiful corners for photography, and on a wedding day the hardest part is always choosing quickly — because in a place like this, you could easily spend hours photographing every view, every room and every small detail.

The ceremony took place near the main pool of Conrad Koh Samui, on the glass platform overlooking the sea and the Five Islands. The floral arch prepared by Bliss Events looked soft and elegant against the tropical landscape, creating a clean and emotional setting without taking attention away from the couple.

One of the most beautiful moments of the day was Hayley’s entrance with her father. The ceremony felt very sincere — not overly formal, but full of quiet emotion, smiles, vows and the kind of small reactions that matter most when you look back at the photographs years later.

After the ceremony, we used the sunset light for portraits with family, friends and the couple. At Conrad, the light changes very quickly in the evening, so the best portraits often happen in a short window — soft, warm and natural, with the ocean turning into a calm background behind the couple.

The reception continued into the evening with speeches, hugs, laughter and dancing. The atmosphere was warm and personal, with guests fully involved in the celebration rather than simply watching from the side.

The night ended with fireworks over the sea — a bright, cinematic finish to a wedding day that already felt full of emotion. For us, this was one of those celebrations where the location was spectacular, but the real story came from the people: their closeness, their humour and the joy they brought to Hayley and Steve’s day.
